Mis ojos tiemblan
en el rostro dorado del té
los veo diluirse
en transparencias
que van a caer / en el lago caliente
y delicado.
¿Qué dolor más grande hay
que el dolor del hijo?
¿Qué mar más profundo
que la pena
por la pena del hijo?
Tan amarga taza de té…
La he vaciado
en el fondo queda
la sal
se rompe de sed el agua de mi cuerpo
se parte con el seco
insoportable pesar / del hijo que se quiebra.

My eyes tremble
in the golden face of the tea
I see them dilute
into translucency
that falls /into the hot
and delicate lake
What greater pain
than a son’s pain?
What deeper sea
than the sorrow
for a son’s sorrow?
Such a bitter cup of tea...
I have emptied it
at the bottom remains
the salt
thirst breaks the water in my body
it splits with the dry
unbearable sorrow /of a son that breaks.
